Carl & Peggy are located in Central Texas in a very small community called Star.  The dogs have been extremely helpful with their preconditioning cattle business.

Carl retired from the San Antonio Fire Department and trained horses for roping, pleasure and cutting for many years before – going to the dogs.  He trains his own dogs as well as a select few outside dogs.

Peggy works for the Mills County Appraisal District in Goldthwaite.  Photography and reading occupy any spare time she might find.

One of their daughters suggested the name Hid-N-Hills Farm as they were located so far back in the hills no one could find them.  While they have moved from the "hills", they still use that name.

Carl and Peggy have been married 28 years and have two grown daughters and two sons-in-law.  Between the two they now have two granddaughters and one grandson.  The oldest daughter lives in Pipe Creek, Texas and the youngest lives in San Antonio, Texas.

They have met many fine folk over the years at dog trials and in training.  Carl says, “I’m doing what I enjoy the most – training dogs and working with cattle.  Life doesn’t get much better than that!”
