Larry Innerarity grew up typically Texan breaking horses on his father's pony farm by the time he was 9.  Summer jobs were scarce for a kid in the 50's and $10 a horse was a pot of gold for one who only wanted to straddle a horse anyway.  Larry found the things his dad, Albert, taught him about breaking horses are most valuable for the work he does with cattle dogs.

Larry was inspired at age 7 by a rodeo clown's border-collie-ducks-in-a-burlap-bag 5 minute entertainment.  During a mission to replace the family ranch's dwindling goat supply, Larry came home from Dick Atwood's in Frankston, Texas with fresh nannies and a Border Collie female.  From this female came "Lucy", Larry's foundation female.

Larry trains outside dogs for cattle and sheep work.

Larry credits "Lucy" as the "mother" of the Lone Star Cattle Dog Futurity.  He and his friend, Skeeter Sitton, along with many dedicated people held the first LSCDF in 1998.  Larry and Skeeter had 1/4th of the first year's entries.

Barbara Innerarity is a driving force behind the scenes of BCK Kennels and the Lone Star Cattle Dog Futurity.  Barbara is there supporting Larry and working side-by-side, and for a fact, 24/7 during LSCDF time.

Larry and Barbara have 3 sons, Joseph, Justin and Jay, all grown.  they have 2 grandchildren, Kyle and Macie.
