Dog is coming in for the neck or side bite on the nose.  Calf will probably turn away before he gets there.

Dog is probably biting correct because if he would go for the nose the calf would probably go up over him.

 

 

Dog going in for front foot bite.  Probably passed up the nose on purpose.  This will turn a calf that is not running.


 

Dog has either just tried to grab a nose or has just finished.

Dog moving away to block up again.
