Rodney and Carol Hopwood breed for dependability, savvy and toughness. It takes a good-minded dog with heart and want-to for cattle work in the rugged xxxxxx, xxxxxx, climate xxxx country xxxxxx. Rodney started using Border Collies 16 (??) years ago. The old cattle bred foundation lines they use are Eric Wanman's Willie, Glenn Guttridge's Hank and L. R. Alexander's Griz and Jill. (Word this anyway you want - this is just a draft to get you going.)

Though their dogs are used primarily on the ranch, Rodney trains outside dogs and gives working clinics. He won the Red Bluff Bull and Gelding Stockdog Trial in 2001 with Harlan (Willie x Lena, a Hank daughter). Rodney repeated his championship win at Red Bluff in 2002 with Pistol a son of Willie x Copper. Some of this can go on the "About Us" page.
